Maximize Your #Momlife Planner Spreads

Mom life ain't easy! There are a ton of things to manage and balance.  Menu planning, house cleaning & chores, kids' schedules, sports, activities, appointments and more! Being the CEO of your household takes planning, prepping and systems to make everything run like a well-oiled machine.

With Mother's Day right around the corner we thought it was the perfect time to round up our best #momlife planner tips to maximize the awesome job you are already doing.

Tip #1:  Automate Chores

It's easy to go from a squeaky clean house to what looks like a hurricane came through your home in the matter of days without a little chore automation or routine. Here are KOPS we are huge fans of the Clean Mama routine which designates a specific chore each day along with a quick daily chore checklist.  We have a sticker sampler based on this very system.  If this system doesn't work for you - make your own! Pick a chore to complete each day that takes no more than 10-15 minutes and mark it in your planner each week (preferably with a sticker because stickers make everything more fun and we have TONS of cleaning stickers).

Automating your chores and building a cleaning routine not only keeps your home clean and tidy up but keeps you sane!

Tip #2:  Mark Down Time Sensitive Activities

Keep tracking of appointments, school days, sports and more can be overwhelming so it's key to mark down all time sensitive activities in your monthly & weekly spreads first.  Once you have these things down you can plan your to-do's and errands around them. Using our activity stickers is a fun & functional way to note your time sensitive items in your planner. We have everything from doctor's appointment stickers to sports, church and more!

Tip #3:  Schedule Me Time

As much as you are pretty close to being Super Woman you aren't a machine and will function much better when you make time for YOU! While self-care isn't all about mani/pedis and massages, making sure you "book" some sort of me-time is essential to being the best mom you can be.  You need to set boundaries and recharge your batteries so you can get back to keeping your household in order. We have a great selection of Self-Care stickers to help you make scheduling Me Time much easier!

Tip #4: Build a Menu

Meal time can be stressful and not all of us love cooking and grocery shopping, but the reality is providing our family with nourishing meals is essential to everyone's health and happiness. Creating a meal planning routine, building a weekly menu, grocery shopping and getting the family involved is key.  Using our Meal Planner Worksheet Insert is a great way to get all of this done! And if you need something simpler check out our Vertical Menu Planner Insert.

There you have it our 4 tips to maximizing your #momlife planner spreads! It's important to make your planner work for you and it takes time to build a routine with your planner too so be patient with yourself.  Try implementing some of the tips above and let us know what other #momlife planning tricks help you be the best mom you can be!
