January 2023 Reflection, Goals, and More
I can't believe it's already February 9th! This year sure is truckin' along!
So today I wanted to share with you my January 2023 reflections, how my planner is working for me and my February set-up (with some Jess ramblings sprinkled in of course).

Planner Success
I'm pleasantly surprised by how much my Makselife Vertical planner is really working for me so far this year. I didn't expect to be using it as much or as intensely as I have been, but it's really helping me stay focused and on track.
While I didn't intend to give much attention to goals and goal setting this year, I'm finding that my weekly goal setting routine is really providing me with structure and giving me momentum. It's helping my mind stay focused on what I feel is important and keeping me accountable to my goals and healthy habits.
Goal Update
So far I'm making steady progress with my goals and habits.
It's not always easy to find small weekly action steps to set to reach those bigger goals, especially in areas like Community (aka Family & Relationships). But committing to doing so, is paying off for me. I'm slowly taking baby steps to reaching my bigger goals and feeling those tiny successes helps keep me motivated.
February Planner Set-Up
For February, I approached my planner pretty much the same as January. I use my month view to simply note events or appointments. My weekly is a color coded checklist and schedule along with daily highlight tracker.
This month my focus on Home Improvements, Community and prepping for springtime on the farm are continuing. And with my most challenging area of life right now - Career - I'm still not sure exactly how to approach this, but step one is gratitude.
